Support during the start of labor during the so-called the latency phase
During the latency phase, I offer my support and presence. If you wish, you can get pain-relieving and relaxing acupuncture at home.
Acupuncture is a well-proven method for relieving pain and promoting relaxation. I tailor my support to your individual needs.
You can also get advice on when it is time to go to the hospital, if you are planning a hospital birth.

Support, counseling and advice after birth
I can support you after your baby is born. You can get advice and support about breastfeeding, sleep, and how to take care of yourself as you adjust to your new role as a parent. When you need advice, encouragement or just someone to talk to, I can be there for you.
You and your child can also receive acupuncture/acupressure at home, the first week after birth.
Support during pregnancy
Pregnancy can be a time filled with joy, anticipation and a certain amount of anxiety. It is normal to worry and it is individual how we deal with our worry. For some, excessive worry, stress and anxiety can lead to difficulty sleeping and difficulty relaxing.
I offer support talks and also acupuncture to help manage these feelings, so you can experience a calmer and more harmonious pregnancy. In case of severe problems, you may need contact with a psychologist. You can get help with this via your midwifery clinic.
Urgent (non-scheduled) home visits upon request via phone/sms and as time permits.

Children and sailors come when they can, not according to how we plan.
If you already know in advance that you would like support during your upcoming latency phase, book a free telephone consultation, that way I can stay more prepared during the weeks when the birth may start. However, on-call readiness is not included for other than planned home births.
