About me
I am passionate about birth rights, and I want to protect physiological birth, which is endangered in our society.
When I was expecting my first child in the 90s, I decided that I was going to be a midwife. My aim was to work with physiological (at that time so-called natural) births, and preferably home births.
However, it took many years before I resumed my midwifery studies after a break. By then I had managed to be a nurse for 16 years.
As a midwife, I have worked in a laboring ward and at a maternity care center. Since 2020 I have assisted home births.
Right now I am writing a handbook on birth rights in collaboration with Birth Rights Sweden.
